Lead me to the Cross

I was just listening to this song recently, and God's presence really fell upon me. I wept at how relative this song was for me, not just me, everyone else.

Most of the time, we overlook the Cross. The place where His blood was spilled for our ransom. And each time we keep moving toward the opposite direction of where He wants us to be, it is obvious that we don't value Him enough. We don't feel the importance/seriousness of what He's done for us.

There's no such thing as grey. It's either light or darkness. Don't start wondering why God isn't helping you. Start thinking why aren't you doing what He wants you to do. He gives and takes away and doesn't owe anyone anything.

Everytime you think that you'll never be able to change, remember that He was once where you were. Learn to let go and let God ( quoted from one of the sermons ).

Lead me to the Cross
Verse 1:
Saviour I come
quiet my soul remember
redemptions hill
where Your blood was spilled
for my ransom

Pre-Chorus:
everything I once held dear
I count it all as lost

Chorus:
Lead me to the Cross
where Your love poured out
bring me to my knees
Lord I lay me down
rid me of myself
I belong to You
O lead me
lead me to the Cross

Verse 2:
You were as I
tempted and trialed
Human
the word became flesh
bore my sin and death
now You're risen

Bridge:
to your heart
to your heart
lead me to your heart
lead me to your heart
